You won’t find additives, colouring or harmful fats – everything is natural and we only use olive oil – in fact 90% of our menu is completely fat free. We have an extensive, mainly organic menu suitable for vegan, gluten free and wheat free diets. Even non-vegetarian’s love our food so why not come along and give us a try?
How it all started
In 1988 an unexpected visit to India provided me with an opportunity to meet a spiritual leader, Sri Sathya Sai Baba. This proved to be a turning point in my life; I became a vegetarian and soon after spotted a gap in the market for a good vegetarian restaurant and, in 1989, The Riverside Vegetaria opened its doors based around my guru’s teachings of Love All, Serve All.
